RAF Motor Racing returns to Silverstone with the Armed Forces Race Challenge

This weekend our team competed at Silverstone International for rounds 7 & 8 of the Armed Forces Race Challenge with 750 Motor Club. A huge 42 car grid lead to some brilliant racing from our three services, veterans and guests.

6 novice drivers competed from the RAF, and they are all driving like they are seasoned racers. Some brilliant performances throughout the team, overall podium finishes, double class wins, class podiums and some incredibly close racing.

The Project Flywheel E36, the UK’s first club level race car to compete on 100% synthetic non-fossil fuel from P1 Fuels, performed well again taking two class wins and a second place overall. This ground-breaking project supported by RAF Astra is going well so far!
