One of the oldest forms of racing, Motorcycle Road Racing is a spectacular test of rider and machine, with high speeds, challenging routes and an unparalleled spectator experience. The Isle of Man TT is by far and away the most famous event in this category, and brings together competitors from around the world, from all forms of motorcycle racing.

Held on closed public roads, these events can be run as time trials with riders released at intervals (As on the Isle of Man) or following a similar format to closed-circuit racing with all competitors starting together.
